High Voltage Slip Ring Assemblies
Conductix-Wampfler can modify our standard 600 volt rings to handle up to 2000 volts. If you need even more voltage, we build two basic types of High-Voltage Slip Rings - solid core and air-gap. HV Rings are used in large cranes, mining machines, logging cranes, large cable reels, and other machines requiring more than 2,000 volts.

Solid-Core High Voltage
The solid core unit has a completely epoxy filled core to seal out moisture and debris and maintain proper dialectric properties. Each unit is high-pot tested to assure that it will withstand the rated voltage.
Voltage maximum: 8,000 volts
Air-Gap High Voltage
Air-Gap High Voltage Slip Rings adhere to NEC guidelines for the required distance between live conductors. The open construction:
- Provides access for field wiring
- Reduces the chance for moisture and debris to collect, which might compromise the dielectric properties of the unit.
Each Air-Gap High Voltage Slip Ring is high-pot tested to assure that it will withstand the rated voltage.
Voltage maximum: Up to 25,000 volts
